“My Most Influential Teacher” Scholarship

THE FETTERMAN & ASSOCIATES SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT encourages and supports students in their pursuit of education.   Each year, the Project awards scholarships to five college bound high school seniors. Our program focuses on student development and teacher influence/appreciation. Each student is required to submit an application together with an original essay entitled “My Most Influential Teacher”.

THE FETTERMAN & ASSOCIATES SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT will select five student winners who will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Each winning student and chosen teacher will be honored at the award presentation ceremony.  Completed applications and essays must be received no later than midnight, March 15, 2021 as set forth on the application form.    Winners will be announced on March 29, 2021.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Eligible applicants must 1) attend high school in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee or Indian River Counties at the senior grade level; and 2) have applied for admission to at least one college or university for attendance upon graduation from high school.

Applicants will be required to write and submit an original essay describing the teacher who had the greatest influence on the applicant, and the manner in which the applicant was influenced.  Essays must be a minimum of five hundred and a maximum of one thousand words, double spaced, with 1.5 inch margins, in a type font size no greater than 12.  Winning applications and essays will be chosen based on originality, thoughtfulness of content, writing style, and grammatical, spelling and format presentation. THE FETTERMAN & ASSOCIATES SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT or its designees will be the sole determinants of the winners. Employees of Fetterman & Associates or their family members are not eligible to participate in the Scholarship Project.
